Bio

Picture
As a marine biologist, marine science educator, certified 200-hour yoga instructor, an NIH-certified inclusive mentor, and PADI SCUBA Divemaster, I engage my audience in a way that cultivates the excitement of exploration and engagement for learning.

I am marine molecular ecologist studying invasive species. Specifically, I am an expert in seagrass biology, particularly the biology of an invasive seagrass. Because of my work in marine biology, I hope to one day have a lab that makes people feel excited, inquisitive, and enabled to get in the water. On a personal note, I love fly fishing, scuba diving, gardening, and traveling.

Co-Founder of AWOCSpace, LLC
